Left Coast Performance's MCT Oil is a great addition to smoothies, salads, coffee and it can be used for cooking. Our premium MCT oil contains 7.8g of C8 and 6.2g of C10. And unlike other brands we only source MCT oil from Coconuts.
If you're just starting out, start with 1/2 tsp of MCT Oil and increase the dosage over time. Introducing MCT oil can initially upset some stomachs so build up to 2 tbsp over time.
Take 1-2 tbsp, 1-3 times per day.
Our MCT Oil is made from Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Why MCT Oil?
MCT Oil helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels, and ignites your bodies metabolic rate. MCT Oil can be broken down without the help of your liver and used an energy source. The American Society for Clinical Nutrition published a study that compared the metabolic impact on two separate groups of men, one consuming 48g of MCTs and the other consuming 45g of LCTs (from corn oil). The group consuming MCT oil increased their metabolic rate by 12% more than those consuming LCTs.
For those following a low carb-high fat diet or are trying to achieve nutritional ketosis MCT oil is an excellent supplement to increase calories from healthy fats.
Is MCT Oil Paleo Friendly?
Is MCT Oil Keto Friendly?
Absolutely. It contains 0g of carbs. No additives or fillers.
Does this contain Gluten or GMOs?
No, our MCT oil does not contain gluten or GMOs.
Why does MCT oil my stomach hurt?
It can take the body a short period of time to adjust to medium-chain triglycerides. We recommend building up from 1/2 tsp. Listen to your stomach, your tolerance will increase over time, however if it doesn't stop taking MCT oil.
In addition to starting slowly, taking MCT oil with food can help reduce stomach pain. We know a lot of people take MCT oil first thing with their coffee so this doesn't work for everyone.
Some brands use Palm Kernel Oil which can behave differently than MCT oil from coconuts (the type we use). Palm Kernel Oil is generally cheaper and it's often a by-product from the cosmetic industry looking to extract C12 by using harsh chemicals. Finally, we use a BPA PET bottle to avoid leaching.
